The world, 1880

This is a map showing the state of the world in my ongoing map-series (the other maps can be found here: [link]ostcount=3223, and going back by the links provided in each post). The history of that world diverges from ours in 1812, when a proposal to restore the Grand Duchy of Lithuania as part of the Russian Empire is accepted (rather than rejected, as in our world) by the Russian Tsar. Subsequently, the revolutions in the 1830s are much stronger and much more succesful, with Lithuania, Poland, Greece and Hungary becoming independent. The story progresses from there.
