Wonderful work! Love all your possible realities they all seem so... urgh... ';possible'!
:iconlaiqua-lasse:
Thanks a lot :) It's nice when something you like doing is appreciated by others.

I need help with map making, especially my idea I have. Can you help me?

I can certainly try :) What exactly do you need?

I've used a globe to help me with my map, but it ends up looking crap. what do you suggest for realism? The kind of world i'm going make is going to consist of two major continents separated by at least two seas. So how can I make it look realistic. and is there an easy way of "zooming in" on certain parts of the continents without misconstruing the original piece? I know these are a lot questions but I'm in real pickle with this.

For realism, I would suggest:
a) Looking at the general shapes of various geographical boundaries in our world - note that some places have very neat coastlines, while some have ragged ones; some areas seem stretched east-west, some seem stretched north-south; there are many such features and you could try to mimic them in one way or another;
b) You may also take some detailed maps of a few tiny islands and copy them enlarged as continents; add some changes to the coastlines and no-one will recognize what you did; my "Fantasy map no.1" is an example of this;
c) I suppose you could also start with a map of the world and start making slight changes, checking whether the map looks realistic along the way. After enough changes are made, the world will look unrecognizable.

If you want to "zoom in" on certain areas, you can do one of the following:
a) Use some strange map projection (I don't remember their names, though) that would artificially increase the size of one area at the expense of others;
b) Make insets at the edges of your world map showing the areas you want to pay more attention to;
c) Use different colours and detail level - if, let's say, North America is very detailed and filled with saturated colours, it will be more visible that the non-detailed, greyed out surroundings.

I hope this helps :)

It helped a lot! Thanks man!
